WELCOME TO THE EAST ASIAN ASSOCIATION BREMEN!

"BUTEN UN BINNEN - WAGEN UN WINNEN"

Over the centuries, large numbers of citizens of Bremen have followed this motto of the Hanseatic merchants, which was carved above the round arch of Bremen’s chamber of commerce in 1899 and can be literally translated as
“outside and in – risk it and win”.

They have embarked on the adventurous journey to the Far East to discover new regions.

MEMBERS

Whilst it was primarily merchants and captains who provided a bridge to Asia at the time of the association’s foundation, scientists, engineers, service providers and private individuals with a great affinity for Asia have also joined the association over the decades. We are currently delighted to have more than 500 active members, including 100 companies and 400 private individuals.
